Meet the Artist
Welcome to Banestre Crafting World. I'm Bob, a South Wales artist with a lifelong passion for drawing, history and the Welsh landscape.
My early career as a technical draftsman taught me precision, structure and attention to detail—skills that continue to influence every painting I produce today.
Working mainly in watercolour and line & wash, I enjoy capturing the character of landscapes, villages, industrial heritage and the quiet beauty of everyday places.
Every painting is an original; I do not produce prints or greetings cards.
Whether inspired by the coastline of Wales, historic buildings or moments from daily life, my aim is always the same—to create paintings that tell a story and invite the viewer to pause for a moment.

Discover the Life Collection that looks at original watercolour paintings inspired by places, structures and humanity's effects on nature. Each piece is unique and available unmounted or professionally mounted. More recently, the Life Collection has begun to evolve with the introduction of Gothic-inspired paintings, allowing me to explore mood, atmosphere and storytelling from a different perspective while remaining true to my distinctive watercolour style.

Mounting & Sizes
Each original painting can be ordered unmounted or professionally mounted. The artwork itself is approximately A4 in size. If you choose mounting, you can select either an A4 mount (£10) or a larger A3 mount (£18), giving the painting more surrounding space. Frames (black or white) are carefully chosen to complement each piece. Your preferred mounting option can be selected when placing your order.

All prices include careful packaging and UK postage to ensure your artwork arrives safely.
